Career Days (Ages 12+)
What Are Career Days?
At ARROWS Collaborative, we believe it is more important than ever to
help our students have experiences that expose them to various career opportunities.
Whether your student is interested in going to college after graduation, entering the trades after high school, or has no idea what they would like to do, career days are a great opportunity to allow your student to get a taste of what other people have done.
We partner with local business owners and trades people and set up a time to come tour their place of work or business. The business owner introduces what he or she does, what a day in the life of running the business looks like, answers any questions our students or chaperones have and then take the students on a tour or demo of what their work looks like.

Why are Career Days Important?
More than any other time before, our students have lots of options that don't include the typical college route. However, with lots of options there are as many obstacles with the changing world of AI. We believe it is in the best interest of our students to get a head start on exploring various jobs, industries, trades. Instead of just reading about the opportunities out there, we want our students to get to experiences those opportunities first hand with real world experience and possibly meet business owners that would be interested in hiring an intern.
