Homeschooling in Community

The Best of Both Worlds: Learning in a faith-based community. Hands-on experiences to instill the love of learning. Homeschooling is not meant to be done alone. ARROWS Collaborative is a part of Alamo Area Christian Educators a 501(c)(3) and was started after seeing a great need in the Marble Falls area for a Christ-centered, teacher- led, peer-group learning environment for PreK through middle school ages. We are primarily a drop-off program but do have volunteer opportunities. We offer the courses that are a lot more fun in a group (like PE!)  and the subjects which are hands-on and usually harder for homeschool parents to teach such as art and hands-on science.

Abundant Hearts

Being a homeschool parent is beautiful but it is also really hard and sometimes can feel isolating. We want to bring these hearts together that God created to be in community. We wanted to create a space where like-minded families can learn and grow together.

Rooted in Christ

Jesus Christ is our foundation and everything we teach stems from our belief and trust in Him. All of our classes are based on a biblical worldview. We want to surround our children with truth and raise them to always seek after truth in this world that makes it hard to find.

Raising the Next Generation

There are several scriptures in the Bible telling us the importance of teaching the next generation about God and all that He has done. That is our calling as parents, as teachers and leaders in the community and that calling is one we take very seriously.

"We will not hide them from their descendants;
we will tell the next generation
the praiseworthy deeds of the Lord,
his power, and the wonders he has done." Psalm 78:4

Out-of-the-Box
Thinkers & Creators

We are raising our children at a time when the world is rapidly changing around us. We believe more than ever this is the best time to instill independent and creative thinking in our kids because who knows what the job market will look like in a few years and the more creative our kids are,

Wonder-Filled Kids

God is the wonder-filled Creator. His creations are unlike anything else. He created our children to be creative too when He created them in His image (Genesis 1:27).

Shining Their Lights in the World

We want our kids to have this firm foundation in Who they belong to and Who God is so when they are out in the world whether that is right now or when they are adults, they will be a reflection of God's light to those around them.

Scout Program

Our 4-5 age group has their own special program where they come together for circle time, music, art projects, science, PE and outdoor nature study. It's a space for building new skills and making new friends.

Art

The students get to experiment with different mediums and are introduced to different creative processes. Best of all they get to have fun!

Science

There are no worksheets in this hands-on science class! The students get to learn about the workings of them world around them. Then it is off to "The Lab" where they get to put their lesson into practice with exciting, surprising and often messy science experiments.

P.E.

Fun and fitness should go hand-in-hand and this class does just that. We never stop moving and never stop having a great time.
